Out of the box, the Energy S has felt fantastic and the dimensions truly are Goldilocks. It’s the most talked about paddle among my group and I’ve since converted 3 other Selkirk/Engage players.
Added a CRBN over grip and carbon edge protector for an aggressive look. Looking to secure my first tournament win in the coming weeks.

Great balance between power and control. Very low vibration compared to my previous (1st) paddle. Length of hilt allows for one or two handed grip. My only complaint is cosmetic, after light-moderate use, paddle face does mark, so it loses the “new” look, but doesn’t affect performance so it keeps a 5 star rating.

Coming from a Selkirk Vanguard S2, I feel like there is a lot more control, the spin is amazing and the power is great. I recommend this paddle to everyone. Added a couple inches of lead tape to the lower sides and put an overgrip on it.
