This paddle is absolutely great . I have been playing with it for about a month now and it has quickly became my main! It just does everything right. Power when you need it, touch when at the kitchen. The placement on this paddle is phenomenal I can hit some crazy angels with it. This paddle allows me to do basically anything I want ! Absolutely recommend this!

I had been playing with the Honolulu Pickleball Company J2CR and absolutely loved it, so I wasn’t really looking to make a change. Then a friend of mine, who happens to be one of the first Pickleball Apes dealers in the U.S., offered to let me try the Zen+ for a few games.

I could tell almost immediately that there was something special about this paddle. As a 60+ player, I can always use a little extra easy power, and the Zen+ gave me exactly that without sacrificing the control and touch that are so important to my game. It felt powerful when I needed it, but I still felt confident on resets, drops, and shots at the kitchen.

After demoing it, I decided to buy one. I played with it during open play for about a week and then entered a local team tournament. Apparently the paddle and I were getting along pretty well — our team took first place!

I did customize mine by adding a little weight between the 3–5 and 7–9 o’clock positions. That gave me some additional stability and made the paddle fit my game perfectly.

If you're looking for a paddle that provides some extra power without making you give up control, I definitely recommend giving the Zen+ a try.

I received my paddle yesterday and put it through 2.5 hours of nonstop games tonight. I went in with high expectations, and somehow this paddle exceeded them.

I own more than 35 paddles and fully admit I’m a paddle nerd, so I don’t say this lightly: this instantly became my #1 paddle and new main.

Why? The combination of specs and performance is outstanding: low swing weight (107–108), low static weight (7.9 oz with an overgrip), high twist weight (7), and a huge, forgiving sweet spot. It delivers plenty of controllable power while still being incredibly composed in the soft game—dinks, drops, resets, and touch shots all felt natural and predictable.

Fast hand battles at the net are one of the strongest parts of my game, and this paddle absolutely shines there. It’s quick through the air, extremely stable for its weight, and gives me the combination of speed and control I’m looking for.

I’m genuinely not sure how you managed to build a paddle with this particular blend of low swing weight, stability, power, forgiveness, and soft-game control, but I’m glad you did.

The grit also feels excellent. After 2.5 hours of hard play, I saw zero ball dust, and the surface still feels extremely aggressive.

When you describe this paddle as “power with a soft touch,” that’s exactly what it delivers.

And for anyone wondering: this is 100% a real review from someone who owns and plays with a lot of paddles. No hype.

This is an S-tier paddle.

I dont usually write reviews on paddles but this one is special. This paddle feels better than anything ive tried and ive been playing 4 years pretty consistently. Deep thonky bass sound with buttery feel and dwell. The perfect amount of power and pop. Top tier spin and the most impressive stat is the swing weight/twist weight ratios which i'd put this in 1st place for the category. Hybrid paddle of the year for me- no contest. If this tech can be implemented into an elongated paddle, it would break the market. Amazing price. After playing with this, i'd pay $250 for it. It's that good.
