I received my paddle yesterday and put it through 2.5 hours of nonstop games tonight. I went in with high expectations, and somehow this paddle exceeded them.
I own more than 35 paddles and fully admit I’m a paddle nerd, so I don’t say this lightly: this instantly became my #1 paddle and new main.
Why? The combination of specs and performance is outstanding: low swing weight (107–108), low static weight (7.9 oz with an overgrip), high twist weight (7), and a huge, forgiving sweet spot. It delivers plenty of controllable power while still being incredibly composed in the soft game—dinks, drops, resets, and touch shots all felt natural and predictable.
Fast hand battles at the net are one of the strongest parts of my game, and this paddle absolutely shines there. It’s quick through the air, extremely stable for its weight, and gives me the combination of speed and control I’m looking for.
I’m genuinely not sure how you managed to build a paddle with this particular blend of low swing weight, stability, power, forgiveness, and soft-game control, but I’m glad you did.
The grit also feels excellent. After 2.5 hours of hard play, I saw zero ball dust, and the surface still feels extremely aggressive.
When you describe this paddle as “power with a soft touch,” that’s exactly what it delivers.
And for anyone wondering: this is 100% a real review from someone who owns and plays with a lot of paddles. No hype.
This is an S-tier paddle.
I dont usually write reviews on paddles but this one is special. This paddle feels better than anything ive tried and ive been playing 4 years pretty consistently. Deep thonky bass sound with buttery feel and dwell. The perfect amount of power and pop. Top tier spin and the most impressive stat is the swing weight/twist weight ratios which i'd put this in 1st place for the category. Hybrid paddle of the year for me- no contest. If this tech can be implemented into an elongated paddle, it would break the market. Amazing price. After playing with this, i'd pay $250 for it. It's that good.

Excellent paddle. Good linear power, control, touch and ball shape. Lighweight but with a great twistweight and sweetspot.
As a paddle enthusiast, I'm used to the hype being more exciting than the actual paddle. The Zen is an exception. The hype is absolutely justified.
I'm a high intermediate player that was looking for more power in my game after rocking the OG Coral for half a year. I couldn't connect to any of the power paddles I tried before this (J6CR, Power 2 series, Q2, Black Opal). Most power paddles are pretty stiff and board-like, and you have to calibrate your technique to stop pop ups. In comparison, the Zen is a delight to play! It's got a relatively soft (between soft/stiff I'd say), dwelly feel to it, and oh my so THONKY. I've found it intuitive dialing in my softer shots, and the paddle absolutely sends it on full swings. I actually have to think a bit more about technique to keep the ball in.
This is the perfect power paddle - power when you need it, but controllable. The combination of a light SW for the TW is also black magic. Pickleball Apes made a winner!
