This certified refurbished paddle came and it looked and performed like a new paddle. My previous paddle was a Vatic Pro Prism Flash. I was looking for something like it but with a little more power. This paddle is perfect for my needs. The paddle has a nice plush feel, is very stable and performs well around the edges (has a large sweet spot). I added an overgrip, bumper tape and an inch of lead tape to the side. With those changes my paddle weighs in at 237g or 8.3oz

As a certified refurbished paddle, I could not tell it wasn't new.
I'm 63 and a decent player, 3.5 or 4.0, who knows. I play 3-4 times a week. I have not added any weight.
First thing I noticed was the texture. It produces plenty of spin. A lot more than my other two (a Paddletek and Selkirk). It's fairly quiet too. There are some really loud paddles out there, this is not one of them. It has nice balance, plenty of power (the game is not all about power) and very good control.
I am very pleased with this paddle. Great value for the money! Recommended!

I’ve tried a bunch of paddles over the last few months. Some billed for control. Some focusing on power. Some spin. The Pro Energy S is *the* best dink/drop/control/block/reset paddle I’ve used. It’s almost unfair it’s so easy.
Good sweet spot. Good put away pop from the NVZ (not top tier but enough).
The spin is outrageous and perhaps the best spin paddle I’ve used.
Power is a bit lacking from the baseline for drives, but hitting a top spin down the line shot is easy mode. My open play group knows it’s coming and I still put it away at a high percentage. The more spin you use the less you’ll care about the lack of power compared to other paddles.
Highly recommend this. Bought the original Pro Line Energy had had a ton of mishits and was can less power. This S model solves it all!

I think is a good price is great paddle but to me is light I personal like heavy paddles and looks like new
