    Great all around paddle!

All around great paddle. Had a double black diamond as my main paddle before this and this paddle has taken its place since the moment it arrived. No dead spots and love the length and power!

Good looking paddle, but probably not for me…

I used to play tennis and thought this would be the perfect paddle for my play style. The paddle itself is beautiful and feels good in the hands; you can tell it’s a thoughtfully-designed, well-made paddle. As much as I want to like it, however, it doesn’t seem to work for me. The first time I took it out I hit some serves at approximately 70% as warm up. The 1st serve send a very unpleasant shock up my hand, almost felt like tearing from the base of my wrist to my thumb. I thought it was due to miss-hit, but when I looked at the paddle face, I can clearly see the contact point with ball dust right at the center of the paddle. I tried a few more times and it was the same. Tried it again another day, the hand shock just won’t go away, and my contact is still consistently in the middle. The only time it doesn’t happen is when I serve with 50% or less power, which is strange, and the shock scares me enough I am afraid to play with it at full power. But my wife didn’t have the same issue and liked the way it plays. So, unfortunately, this relationship didn’t work out. That being said, I still have confidence in Pickleball Apes paddles. This one just isn’t for me.

    Power and touch

The paddle looked new. Really benefited from the long handle. Had the right balance of power and touch.

    Great paddle

I have only played with it once, but really like the paddle. Nice balance for power and control.
