Pro Line Energy Paddle Cover (17"x7")

I only started playing on a weekly basis beginning of December, just over two months, however, I can say that the game is addicting and I'm hooked. I play 3 to 4 times a week, I play with a group of 60 or so people ranging from high beginning players to high intermediate.

After 5 weeks of playing with different demos, I thought I was ready for my first purchase and with some research online I thought a paddle focusing on control and spin potential was a stick I could play with.

My paddle of choice was the Energy and being a tennis player for over 35 years I was told by experienced pickleball players I might be more comfortable with a longer paddle so I played with it for about 2 weeks, but I was curious about how the Energy S would feel like after I noticed the better players primarily played with the more squared paddle designs so I purchased the Energy and I noticed an improvement in my overall play, but I’m not sure if it’s the paddle size or just a function of getting to be a more consistent and experienced player.

I going to go back playing with my original purchase Energy S. I like both paddles and look forward on my pickleball journey.
